"a must purchase with the cushion for softness "

"Fantastic product, bought for my daughter at 12 weeks when we noticed some flat head. Shes now 16 weeks. The cover makes the cushion much softer and is so easy to wash. It takes no time to dry I guess because it's so aerated.

I bought x2, however the actual pillow is washable so you could do with out!

I bought x2 of these cause I thought I would really need them and I wanted to have one always available when one is being washed. They fit the small size mimos pillow great of course, no problems there - they wash well ( can be washed at 40 degrees) and can also be ironed. The colour is pretty and maintains its vibrant colour even after being washed a couple times, also the colour doesn't run in the wash too . It's a good quality pillow case, kind of mesh like material to keep air flow, not super soft but feels much more comfortable when on the actual pillow. But to be honest it's completely up to you if you want to purchase these or not, as the pillow can be washed - so it depends on your lifestyle and how you are going to be using the pillow ( rarely/ all the time/ occasional) . I would say purchase the pillow cases if you dont want to wash the pillow itself often, if your a clean freak buy x2 so you can alternate inbetween washes if you use the pillow often. I use my pillow as often as I can when hes in lying down position to get the best result in keeping his head nice and round ( especially on flat surfaces. He is always supervised when on the pillow and is never left completely alone, I also use the pillow all the time in his bassinet pram when I go out, fits great and is another way to use it if you dont use it much when hes in the home - as I have found my baby needed to get used to the pillow he didnt take to it straight away ( babies can be like this with anything brand new, just keep trying they will eventually adjust - even if they do adjust bare in mind they may still prefer not to be on it for long periods of time, and that's okay, as long as he uses it a few times a day when laying flat or nap times in cot that's better then not at all! ) . The pillow cases are expensive and so is the pillow, but I have to say I've used mine ( the pillow + cases ) since my baby was 2 months of age he is now 4 months ( 17 weeks old & 2 days ) and his head is lovely and round and we are still using it - defiantly has prevented a flat head/ flat spots so far! I would recommend introducing the pillow early as possible so they get used to it, babies will always have a favourite side, till they can turn the head and hold it up ect... the pillow I would highly recommend and the cases I would say is your choice! Also if you buy the pillow you'll have to bare in mind to budget for the size up in due time as it works best if you use the exact size needed for the size of your babies head ( you can use a tape measure around there head crossing over there forehead to measure the size so you buy the appropriate fit) I'm still using size small at 4 months as his head is still within that pillows specific head range. So when you do budget for the size up you will have to decide again if you will buy that pillow sizes pillow case aswell as they all have specific size pillow cases!

Expensive but good to have a spare of these

Expensive just for one pillow case. Something so small I think it should be for two cases at least.
